[EP 40] 古迹修复、知识传承与公众参与:专访陈泾霖博士

本集节目邀请到马来西亚注册古迹修复师陈泾霖博士,分享他参与古迹修复的经验。陈博士对古迹保存的兴趣,源自童年居住于霹雳州峇眼色海老店屋的生活记忆。这份情感引领他日后深入研究砖砌古建筑,并走上专业修复之路。作为年轻一代的修复师,陈博士在与前辈学者的交流中不断积累经验;除了担任槟州文化遗产理事会成员,他也积极参与国际事务,担任国际古迹遗址保护协会(ICOMOS CIF)培训委员会副主席。这些国际参与的经验,让他更深刻体会到在地知识与建筑独特性的重要。陈博士观察到,近年相关政策已逐渐强调「由下而上」的公众参与,这是相当正面的发展。古迹的修复与活用需要长期的耐心与政策支持,而之中的关键,在于如何通过教育让民众真正认识古迹,进而让文化遗产进入生活之中,甚至让年轻人愿意投入古迹维护专业的道路。 In this episode, we talk to Malaysian registered conservator Dr. Tan Chin Ling regarding the current practices, challenges, and future of heritage conservation...
